Major League Baseball is the premier baseball league in the world and one of the most popular sports leagues in the United States. Opening Day is one of the biggest moments of the MLB season and is a big day in for sports fans in general. The ball is smiling and wearing sunglasses and a ballcap to give a sense of youth and energy. The ballpark is Dodger Stadium, and the right side of the skyline is Los Angeles because the Dodgers were the reigning champions. The left skyline has the Washington Monument, Seattle Space Needle, Empire State Building, and the Transamerica Pyramid to represent various MLB cities (Washington, D.C., Seattle, New York, and San Francisco). The six seagulls in the top left represent the six months that the MLB regular season takes to complete.
